IT Strategy Planning
Choosing the right solution for your business network is the key to ensuring a reliable service and the smooth running of operations in the future. The implementation of any new solution is also critical, with the process of migrating from your current infrastructure to an upgraded configuration a vital one. Being so vital, it is important that enough time and effort is put into the initial strategy and planning stages in order to help ensure a successful transition.
LSA Systems recognises that the business drivers within your organisation need to be tightly integrated with IT deliverables and this is done through effective network strategy formulation.
As such, LSA Systems has a 3 phased approach to our Network Strategy Analysis Service:
Phase 1: The Discovery Process
During this stage, LSA Systems consultants will work closely with you in order to undertake a full assessment of your current situation and existing infrastructure. Together, we will identify the business objectives of the organisation that will drive the changes to the network in the future.
Particular aspects that we will investigate are:
- How you currently meet your business requirements for accessibility, availability, security and service response.
- How you measure and monitor network performance in order to meet any set targets that you have identified.
Once complete, Phase 1 of the LSA Systems Network Strategy Service produces a Gap Analysis which highlights areas of concern and outlines any actions that may be required.
Phase 2: The Requirements Process
Building on the Gap Analysis produced in Phase 1 of the process, LSA Systems highly experienced consultants then help facilitate and translate your business requirements into identifiable IT deliverables and document a strategy to achieve your unique business objectives.
During the process, a number of questions are asked, such as ‘where do we need to be?’ and ‘where would we ideally like to be?’. Answers to such questions help identify current areas of concern and help prioritise actions in order to reach any desired results efficiently and effectively.
Having consulted the various important stakeholders in an organisation, our consultants will produce a ‘Network Strategy Roadmap’, which is the document that will detail how the organisation could reach its network requirements in the easiest possible way.
Phase 3: The Delivery Process
Phase 3 will see our consultants working with you and helping you as you undertake the journey outlined in the Network Strategy Roadmap. We will help undertake reviews of the processes, help identify any changing requirements as they happen and generally help ensure the smooth running of any change process.
