What Happens If My Server Crashes?

Now let’s look at how our solution keeps your business running if, for instance, an e-mail server goes down.

Because the EBDR server takes snap shots every 15 minutes, we can choose a point in time shortly before the problem occurred. Once we have ascertained your old server cannot be recovered easily, we will activate the EBDR server to become your virtual server. This allows your business processes to be up and running within the hour while we can fix your broken server. If it’s a major problem and we have to remove your old server from site, backups will continue to happen on the EDBR box. When your old server is repaired or a new replacement server is in place the EBDR box can then transfer the virtual server on the fixed/new server in a fraction of the time of a typical server rebuild.

Off-Site Storage Facility

For additional protection in the event of a complete disaster, data is securely transferred to an off-site co-location facility on a daily basis. Then, in event of such an occurrence, you can obtain a new EBDR server imaged with your latest data. This allows us to keep your data very safe, giving you peace of mind.
