We were recently confronted with the need to replace our SBS Server due to Microsoft removing support on the software.
We use Sage 200 in house for our accounts and the cost of replacing the SQL database software, Exchange for email, and the necessary equipment to run it all was, we felt, excessive.
We explored the market for a provider who could host the Sage product and our company email. We selected LSA Systems because of their knowledge and experience in working with the Sage 200 product.
The project was handled very professionally, with the potential costs and every step being explained in detail. In my experience however, IT projects of this nature rarely go to plan. They often come in over budget and take longer to implement than originally explained at the outset.
In this instance I was pleasantly surprised. LSA were extremely efficient in moving my entire business to a hosted environment, things happened when they said they would happen, and the costs quoted were exact and to the penny. Even my reservations regarding the speed of response of the system proved to be unfounded with the speed of data input and printing being no worse than it was when we were running on our internal server.
The flexibility is another big plus. With the hosted desktop and email, I can increase and decrease my connections with a simple phone call, allowing me to respond to seasonal trends with no capital cost or IT service charges.
To say that I am delighted with the outcome of this project would be an understatement and I can strongly recommend LSA Systems and their hosted solutions.
