We have noticed another e-mail scam doing the rounds today. This message appears to be from Apple and references an album that has supposedly been downloaded from your iTunes account. The message goes on and prompts you to click a link if you haven’t downloaded that particular album to cancel the transaction.
Although the layout of the message is a good copy of Apple’s format if you hover over the link it’s obvious that it doesn’t take you to your Apple ID account. We’d advise that you ignore and delete this message if you receive it.
As a general rule, if you ever have doubts about e-mails like this don’t click on any links within the message. Instead go to the account website and login to check any account activity directly.
